Like the Back of My Hand

It's one of those ideas that look wayyy better in your head.

Reaching For the Stars

I had this picture in my head... unfortunately, that's where it stayed.

Out of Battery

Taught in the morning, then had to rush off to the airport to meet the in-laws, had a very late lunch... Adding to the fact that it was the end of the week...  my batteries were running pretty low.

Hand Diptych

While in VN, I fell and got a splinter in my hand. Once back here, I had it removed but it was under the skin and the doctor had to make an incision. Hence the gigantic plaster.

In My Hand

No post-treatment. It just came out like that. Pretty neat.

iReadInBed

I almost forgot to take a picture. I remembered it when I was reading in bed, hence the title.

Excuse My French

I was shooting this video today that was so arty-farty (me reciting a poem while playing the ukelele in my bathroom) that I decided I *had* to have the appropriate headgear for such pompous pretense. So I donned my beret. And voila! The occasion also called for a pompous portrait. I went for a blase look and I think it works well, if I say so myself!
The cigarette is unlit, as you noticed. I tried using fake smoke but it looked too fake.
I like the phrase "excuse my French", I find it rather funny and have been using it on occasion.

A Kind of Magic

Didn't have an idea all day, then started snapping my fingers and this came about. Wanted to try some silly editing. With added sparks!

Cheers

"Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name..."
Feeling nostalgic and enjoying some non-alcoholic cider.
PS: Unbeknownst (again), it fits right in the DS for today: http://dailyshoot.com/assignments/640

Oyster Shell

The mermaids had dinner on the beach last night. We found this empty oyster, crab claws, empty cockles and other evidence that a feast took place. The view must have been wonderful.
PT: contrast, sharpen.
