Four String Serenade

I plagiarised a Mazzy Star song for the title.
I'm not entirely satisfied with this. I'm sure I could have done something else to make it work, but I don't know what.

Tintin

I love Tintin. So seeing this made me smile. Although I don't think I would eat there...

Ceci N'Est Pas Une Pipe

It really isn't. It almost entirely decorative. Though I would like to have a real pipe. I think they look good.
PT: desat, mottle, border, contrast.

Offerings

Khmer people sometimes give the strangest things as offerings to the gods... or Buddha. As well as incense, I've seen fruit, water... and now coffee and cigarettes. Bourbon, next time?
Taken in the same place as this.

Digue

With the monsoon, the river level has been rising a lot. That's probably why this boat and the line behind it (probably a dam or dyke) were to be seen on the river today.
PT: saturation, contrast.

Creeping Coastline of Lights

I was listening to this song: http://youtu.be/pwH9vdCxnlU and got inspired to do this shot.
I'm getting a lot of ideas from listening to music these days. I like it a lot.

I've been obsessed with this song: http://youtu.be/q6QiZuhqMkA
I hope I did it justice.

This little guy was making a racket on my balcony, so I thought the least I could do was take a picture of him. Or her.

We caught this rehearsal in what seemed to be a temple. We think it might be for Pchum Ben (Festival of the Dead). It looked quite cool.

Onde

Another picture that I don't quite know the meaning of. It just came to me.
I decided while editing that I would add the reflection and make it look like water, hence the ripples.
PT: slight contrast, glow, border.

Night Rain

I had to stay later than usual at work/school because we had a parent-teacher evening. It was pouring, and as I like both the rain and the night, I thought I would take a picture. It was a very quiet moment; the temperature was just right. It was perfect.

The Canadia tower again, this time a bit closer. I played with the contrast a lot. I also a different, "action-like" perspective.

Almost missed this wonderful sunset tonight. I used the "Dawn" setting cos the "Sunset" one gave me crappy pictures. I'm glad of how this turned out.

Enigmatic

I was thinking about genealogy today... and about how little I know about my family. So many things that are hidden, that I might never know... I guess this is what this picture reflects. It's still enigmatic, even to me, and I didn't even know what to call it in the first place.

Rail

I bought this rail (everyone's got one here), and I'm glad I did, because that way, my clothes don't get wet (I used to put them on my balcony, but there was no protection). Yay to dry clothes!

Khmer Flower

This sweet kid gave me a flower during playtime (not even one of my kids!), and I found a piece of scrap paper with Khmer on it, and thought I would blend the two. I had fun with the curves on the Khmer one.

LostInBlurrynation

I watched "Lost In Translation" on TV (very rare that I watch films or the telly), then took this picture... then realised during processing that I accidentally reproduced the pose Bill Murray has on the poster/cover. Another blurry portrait on the stairs it is, then.

Dice

I love dice, dominoes, chips (like the Chinese chess pieces I bought), cards... anything you can manipulate, with atypical numbers on them, or writing. I think it's because they look like runes or symbols of some sort.
