You might not see it, but this is made of two different pictures.

Fire Works

Yesterday was the former king's birthday. There were fireworks, of course. I decided to mesh most of the pictures I took together to give an eerie feel.

Hotel Room

A must-do picture when you're staying in a hotel.

Blue Room

I just realised I was taking a lot of pictures by night. I saw this and was captivated by the atmosphere.

Night Rain

I had to stay later than usual at work/school because we had a parent-teacher evening. It was pouring, and as I like both the rain and the night, I thought I would take a picture. It was a very quiet moment; the temperature was just right. It was perfect.
PT: contrast, saturation.

Canadia

The Canadia tower again, this time a bit closer. I played with the contrast a lot. I also a different, "action-like" perspective.

Guangzhou Lights

Not sure I was allowed to take this... But I've always like lights against the dark backdrop of the sky. Especially in movement. There were not at the time. It was just me not holding the camera still.
PT: lightness, contrast.

Impressionistic

Unbeknownst to me, my two pictures today reflect the Daily Shoot assignment for today.
This was taken under the rain. I loved the glistening on the cobbles, the lights, the dark, the motion too.

Le Jardin

Picture taken during the Phnom Penh Hippie Orchestra gig, in which my hubby was playing. Very nice atmosphere, good crowd. Turns out one of our colleagues owns the place. Such a small world.

Rain of Light

Those lights flash and it looks like it's raining light in the trees. A beautiful sight.

Sign

Guess how I took this one...?
I like the effects of the lights and the sheets still hanging out. The sign is an advert for Angkor Beer.

Night

Another scene taken from my window. Wonder what happens behind those walls...
Not much inspiration today, and not much time...
Post-treatment: slight crop.

Monument of Independence, Phnom Penh

Not a bad picture, I was surprised. My camera doesn't deal well with low light settings...
Taken after seeing the exhibition Love, Lust and Loathing at Java Cafe.

Phnom Penh by Night

Taken from my balcony. A bit of an easy shot, but I like the mood. You can get a glimpse of Wat Phnom in the background.
