Trying to recapture the feel of old Phnom Penh...
One week to go!

Happy/Sad

I know the title is not all that and a packet of crisps... That's all I could find.
Another scene by the riverside... there's a lot going on there. Lots of unspoken drama. This one was too blatant to pass by.
I tried desaturating the picture the other way around, but it didn't work.

Four In A Row

I thought they were funny, all together like that, like organ pipes. They were mesmerised by something. They stood like that for a few minutes. I think they give a good representation of elderly people travelling around SEA, enjoying their retirement. Makes a nice change from the old pervs you meet sometimes, a 20 year-old girl under each arm.
PS: contrast, lightness, saturation.

Solo/Duo

Went out for coffee and I saw those people through the window of the coffee place. I thought there was a funny contrast going on between the single guy on the left and the couple of the right. Then the guy standing underneath the tree also came and stood for several minutes looking at the couple. They pretended he wasn't there. It's pretty uncomfortable having someone stare at you like that. Can't even begin to imagine what he was thinking.

Quais

Can you believe this is the best picture I could come up with? At least I like the grain. B&W was an accident.
PT: crop.

Riverside

Was eating on the balcony of the bakery and had this lovely view. Very Zen, isn't it?
