I see this gate every time we walk the dog, and I wanted to do something with it. So I took a B&W picture that I then edited and turned green. I like adding borders at the moment!

La Banlieue

Today we went back to my mom’s house, where I lived for 22 years of my life before moving out into the big world. I come from the suburbs, NOT the nice suburbs with villas and trimmed gardens, but the rough one where cars are burnt down and you don’t get out after dark.

This is the view from my bedroom.

I never want to go back to that place. It was upsetting being there. But I know it’s also a part of me that cannot be taken out.

My MIL has this tiny chair at home... Somehow, it doesn’t appear as small because I’m pretty small myself...

This is so lush. That's actually how green it is. The sculpture caught my attention. I went by it several times and never noticed it before today.

A Line of Monks

This afternoon as I was on my way to this boy's house, I caught this incredible sight of about 40 - 50 (maybe more) monks all walking in line, off to... somewhere? I HAD to pull the camera out. I'm pretty glad of the way this picture came out. Given the circumstances and the few seconds I had, it couldn't have been better.
