Billabong

My colleague's husband has this hotel in town. The other day, I went there for the first time. It was very nice, I have to say.

Sur L'Eau

Notice how close the boat is to the people. Normally, it wouldn't even be visible. But the water has risen so much... the current is very strong and carries a lot of foliage, amongst other things. The water is bluer... but also worrying.

Blue

Almost missed this wonderful sunset tonight. I used the "Dawn" setting cos the "Sunset" one gave me crappy pictures. I'm glad of how this turned out.
PT: slight saturation/contrast.

Sunset

I use a lot of editing for my selfportraits and thought for once I'd do the same with my "normal" pictures.
PT: lightness, contrast, saturation.

Lamp Post

I really like the lampposts we have here. I might have used too much contrast on here... but I like it that way! the clouds look so menacing, I wanted to highlight that, and add some blue hues... just because.

Crossover

Where the Tonle Sap meets the Mekong. SOOC.
The river has been going up a lot lately, it's not threatening for the moment, but we'll see how it goes. There was quite a bit of current and some tiny waves as well. The sky was wonderful.

City Centre Hotel

Not very far from where I live. Edited it with a platinumish filter, then use selective colouring. I wanted to make the blue and the clouds stand out.

Central Market

A must-see if/when you come to PP. This is the same market you see in the "Panorama" picture (2nd March).
I find the Khmer alphabet very pretty even though I can't pronounce any of the letters.
PT: contrast.

Campagne

On the way home, we stopped at a rest area. This was the view. I chose a widescreen setting to showcase the scenery a bit more.

Christ

One of the featured monuments we have here, proof that some time ago, people were quite religious. I suspect they’re not as religious now.
Turns out it fits right into DS#610 (http://dailyshoot.com/assignments/610)

Library

What I like a lot about this resort is all the old architecture and buildings/houses you can find. Lots of history and character showing.
