No Reflection

What do you do when there's nothing in the mirror staring back at you?

What the?!

You know that dream where you were in a film and tried to kiss your own reflection, but it didn't want to?
No?
Oh, well.

Onde

Another picture that I don't quite know the meaning of. It just came to me.
I decided while editing that I would add the reflection and make it look like water, hence the ripples.
PT: slight contrast, glow, border.

Boat

Took a walk by the river just to take a picture cos I'm running out of ideas. I wanted to take a picture of a boat, but in a different way than usual. Hope I managed to do so here.
PT: lightness, contrast, slight saturation.

Tuk-Tuk Reflection

Was at the coffee place today, and they had those cool reflections on the lamps above. I tried to capture the movement and distortion of one.
PT: crop, hue, contrast.

Container

I tried doing something else, but it failed miserably. Will try again tomorrow.
This is me at sunset, on my balcony... I have those two huge containers on either side. I believe one of them contains water.

City Centre Hotel

Not very far from where I live. Edited it with a platinumish filter, then use selective colouring. I wanted to make the blue and the clouds stand out.

Infinity

This is what happens when you put 2 mirrors in front of each other.

Emile Roux

Emile Roux: gerontology and reeducation centre. I used a platinum filter on this, I’m glad of the way it looks.
PT: sharpen, contrast.

Ceiling

Met up with one of my sisters in a fancy place with a fancy ceiling. I had to take a picture.

Puddles

Even though it looks cold and grey, it was actually fairly sunny and nice. I wanted to use B&W for a change. I liked the puddles and when this guy came and started playing with his reflection... the picture kind of took itself.
PT: contrast, crop.

14 juillet

My camera and computer are still on Cambodian time, that’s why this picture technically was taken on the 14th of July for Bastille Day, but the info gives the 15th of July as being the actual date.
I know there are a lot of firework pictures out there, but I quite like this one. The light, the movement, the reflection on the water, the silhouettes... I’m quite pleased with this picture.

Clock

My MIL has this big grand-father clock in her living room. I thought it had a neat design, as well as the "pendant" having a cool, convex reflection.

Pirogue

This morning, just after I got up, I went down to the riverside to take pictures of the boats. This one came out best. It's the first time I actually went out in a given spot just to take pictures.

5 years of marriage today :)
I like the reflection of the candle.

Drying Noodles

I like how food is everywhere here. Literally. You will be sitting at a restaurant and a street vendor is gonna walk by, or even set up camp in front of the restaurant. And it doesn't bother anyone.
I love the colour of those noodles. You also get a reflection of myself thrown in. I didn't notice it until I edited the picture.

Stolen Selfportrait

I couldn't resist sneaking a quick picture at those kids' house. I have been giving them private tutoring, but will stop in a few days. I'm done with that too.
I think I like the little flags best.

Rockstar

I borrowed one of my colleagues' sunglasses for a minute. You can actually see the reflection of the classroom in my lenses.
